Greensboro Arboretum Engagement Session

Meet Dani and Michael -Crossfitters, dog people, and happily in love. When I met with Dani and Michael, I immediately hit it off with this dynamic couple! From their easy-going personalities, their adventurous spirits, and contagious laughter, I knew we were going to have a great time together during their engagement session. They decided on a Greensboro Arboretum for their engagement session, which fit their down-to-earth personalities so well as we walked through the gardens and winding walkways. Dani and Michael met at a local Crossfit box, pre-pandemic and worked out at the same time regularly. They hit it off immediately and, as they say, the rest is history.

The Engagement Session

We met at Greensboro Arboretum on a very hot and humid July afternoon. When I say hot, it was incredibly hot, but they breezed right through it barely breaking a sweat. Dani and Michael had great chemistry and laughed throughout the shoot, even with the lesser enjoyable circumstances. They brought along their attentive and sweet German Shorthaired Pointer, Buckeye! He was extremely interested in all of the sights and smells of the gardens, but chose to pose for a few photos with his favorite people. Buckeye was originally Dani’s dog, but once Michael entered the picture the two created quite the bond and are inseparable. (Peep the Ohio State Buckeyes leash in the photos!)

What the Future Holds

The pair are recently engaged as of April and have opted for a shorter engagement with their wedding in a few months in November. Dani and Michael are getting married at Cadillac Service Garage in Greensboro with their family and friends in attendance. This is a busy, beautiful chapter in their lives and I’m so grateful that I get to play the part in capturing it for them.
