Madison & Haynes met in high school, but the sparks didn’t fly until well into their lives! Both are from Davie County, but went their separate ways for work, not realizing they would end up back in their hometown together! They rekindled their friendship a few years after graduation, which has budded into the loving relationship they have now.
I met this sweet couple at a wedding I was photographing a few years ago where Madison was a bridesmaid. After watching them laugh and twirl across the dance floor together, their chemistry was evident! I jokingly (but mostly seriously) told them to call me when they finally got engaged! I’m sure glad Madison reached out this Spring, only weeks after Haynes popped the question. And that is what landed us here at Haynes’ parent’s land in Mocksville, North Carolina for their engagement session! I firmly believe these photos speak for themselves about the easy-going vibe these two have together.
We couldn’t have asked for better weather for their Spring engagement session with a beautiful golden sunset and bright full moon to add. Their sweet standard poodle named Lou joined us for a walk around Lake Louise, perfectly posing for many picture-perfect photos. Peep their rescued cat, Eight who insisted on being a part of the photo session too. Curious cats never stray too far from the spotlight, right? We had to include him in a few photos during their session.
Madison and Haynes are set to tie the knot this September at the Rowan Museum in Downtown Salisbury along with family and friends. It will be a beautiful celebration of two sweet souls! I’m so looking forward to this day and the honor of capturing their wonderful wedding celebration! Look out for more images and highlights from their wedding day soon on my social media sites.
