Tips for Your Bridal Session

Congratulations! You’ve found the love of your life, and you’re about to get married. That’s amazing! Now is a great time to celebrate by taking some beautiful bridal photos. Bridal photos are a beautiful way to celebrate your upcoming wedding. They give you an opportunity to do a trial run with your hair and makeup, soak in the excitement, and spend some quality time with the women you’re closest to in your life. Plan what you will bring

Of course, you’ll want your wedding dress and accessories but I recommend you bring other props too. This can be champagne, your veil, a bouquet, your dog, jewelry, or any other item of choice that personalizes your photoshoot to you!

I recommend bringing a change of clothes, shoes, some snacks and water, and make-up for touch ups to our location as well. That way you’re not traipsing to and from our location in your wedding dress and shoes. And you’ll be able to touch up your make-up as we go. Although I will do my best to keep your dress as clean as possible, I recommend having it cleaned or steamed before your wedding day.

Be sure to clean your ring before our session! We will be getting plenty of shots with it and you want it to sparkle.

Choose hair and makeup that’s right for you

To go along with your outfit, you’ll want to think about what kind of hairstyle and makeup will best suit you. You should consider the length of your hair and what kind of look you’re wanting to go for.

If you don’t usually wear makeup or if this is the first time in a while that anyone’s seen you wearing any at all, it might help to look at some photos online before heading out for your session.
