Year in Review

I’m blown away that we are wrapping up another year. 2022 has been a year of milestones, accomplishments, growth, and honing my skills and client experience. Read on for my year in review!

I had the incredible opportunity to photograph 10 complete weddings, 2 intimate weddings, 8 engagement sessions, 24 family/newborn/senior sessions, 2 styled shoots, and a few corporate headshots. I also second-shot a few weddings with some wonderful local photographers. Plus, I spent most of my time away from the camera and computer, watching and being present with my son, Alex. Being able to watch him grow and develop into a toddler this year has been such a privilege.

In addition to all of the photographing and mommying I did, I was able to work with several of my vendor friends and made lots of new ones. I also photographed at a few new-to-me venues, which is always so fun. I worked diligently to improve turnaround times and how my clients experience my brand. Being able to provide an exceptional experience is so important to me!

Year in Review in Photos

I had so many amazing couples this year that it was hard to highlight just a handful but here are some of my favorites.

McKenzie + Kirk

The white mansion, the gorgeous florals and mountain landscape, and the gelato was delicious! There wedding was on a sunny June day with a light breeze; the perfect temperature and weather for an early summer wedding in the Sauratown Mountains.

Megan & Matt

Even though they were already married, this Reception-style celebration had all the stops! The bright pops of colors matched their upbeat personalities and excitement to finally celebrate with all their family and friends after a few pandemic postponements. The Lofts at Congdon Yards have many large windows allowing for natural light to stream in. It was a dream to photograph in this industrial-style venue.

Madison & Haynes

This couple won my heart a few years ago at another wedding and wowed me again at their unique wedding held at the Salisbury Museum! I had to be very strategic to capture the best photos for their intimate Ceremony on the second floor of the museum’s balcony. This down-to-earth couple looked flawless, and I loved capturing all the little planned-out details that were so personal to them.

Aubrey & Roland

Although it rained the entire day, their wedding (especially the reception) was a blast! Such a beautiful venue, and a fun-loving couple with friends that were there to celebrate and throwdown. My second shooter and I took over 1000 photos at the reception alone! Wow!

Kelly & George

The wedding was so timeless and a beautiful black-tie affair celebrating the newlyweds. The owners of the Finch House have been good friends since we did a styled shoot a few years back, and it was awesome to photograph a wedding at their space, finally!

Whether I was behind the camera or pulling Alex around in a wagon, it was a beautiful 2022. This was just a tiny sampling of the incredible couples I had the opportunity to capture this year. I still have a few dates left for 2023 weddings! I would love to be your wedding photographer. You can reach out to me here.
