Like the sun rising over the horizon, or the breathtaking movements of a horse running in stride. Growing up on a farm in Dinwiddie,Virginia has a way of doing that to you. Many miles away from the glitz and glamorous lifestyle, it was here where the divine beauty of farm living inspired me to pursue photography professionally. I found inspiration in the most majestic display of beauty and power that a farm has to offer, horses. I was drawn to these beautiful creatures from the moment I saw them. Their every movement was graceful while yielding strength to move the entire earth with each gallop. Even their mannerisms and expressions showcased personality and individuality among the herd. I was captivated.
Horses hold a special place in my heart, They fueled my passion for photography.
my camera is always with me. Life is a journey and I'm on a mission to capture it!
At an early age, I gained an appreciation for the things money couldn’t buy.
So, at 19, I decided to pick up my first camera in hopes to share what I’ve seen in these beautiful horses and present it to the world.
The time, experience and dedication spent working within the equine world prepared me for a life in the arts. My photography is still focused on capturing raw and genuine emotion while displaying grace and elegance - only now I get to work alongside my couples throughout the most beautiful celebration life has to offer. And, although my focus has shifted, my appreciation for everything I learned on the farm is still alive and well in my work today. It is my pleasure to share more about my journey with you in person and I look forward to learning a little more about you in the time to come.
